We may collect information from government entities from which public records are obtained and information you submit in public forums, including information made publicly available on social media networks.

How we share your personal information
We may share personal information to perform payment card transactions and other activities that you request. We may share the personal information we collect with our affiliates, financial institutions that issue payment cards or process payment card transactions, merchants and organisations and service providers that assist with payment card fraud prevention. In addition, we may share personal information with other third parties with your consent or if otherwise justified or required under applicable law.
We also may share your personal information with our service providers who perform services on our behalf although we remain fully responsible for processing by our service providers and for the security of your personal information.
Within JCB, only our authorized personnel and our data processors may access your personal information.
Third Party Processors
Our carefully selected partners and service providers who perform services for us and help us manage our online services may process personal information about you on our behalf. This may include sharing your information with third parties that assist us in responding to inquiries, providing customer support, facilitating participation in promotions, fulfilling orders, processing payments, delivering our services, hosting our websites, sending marketing communications, and analysing data.
Digital Marketing Service Providers
We periodically appoint digital marketing agents to conduct marketing activity on our behalf; such activity may result in the compliant processing of personal information.
International Data Transfers
We transfer the personal information we collect about you to JCB International Co Ltd in Tokyo (with its principal office at 5-1-22, Minami Aoyama, Minato-Ku, Tokyo, Japan) which processes your personal information for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Also, we may transfer the personal information we collect about you to other countries. In some cases, the countries we export your personal information to may not have the same level of protection as afforded by the laws in your home country. However, whenever we transfer your personal information, we will take steps to protect it as described in this Privacy Policy and to ensure compliance with applicable law, including, as appropriate, entering into data transfer agreements based on standard clauses issued by the European Commission.

How long we store your Personal Information for
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or until you opt out of receiving further communications from us, your contract with JCB International (Europe) is terminated, or you request its deletion—whichever comes first. In some cases, we may be required or permitted by law to retain your data for a longer period.
Changes to the Policy
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, add or remove sections of this Privacy Policy at any time and any changes will be notified to you by an announcement on this website. Your continued use of this website or the services we supply to you, following the posting of changes to these terms, will mean you accept these changes.
Access Rights
